US 19 Homosassa

This $28 million reconstruction contract of 2.07 miles of US 19 making the existing 4-lane divided highway to a 6-lane divided facility with 12-foot travel lanes, 5'-7' buffered bike lanes, 5'-8' shoulders and pedestrian facilities on both sides. The project also consisted of four new storm water retention ponds, closed and open drainage system for rural, urban and suburban typical sections, two UWHCAs for water and wastewater upgrades, and signalization upgrades for three intersections.
