About the Role
Responsible for performing assignments in support of transportation construction inspection projects, including roadway and bridge construction. Work includes verifying contractor compliance with plans and specifications, performing routine material testing, and tracking quantities. Receive general supervision from a Senior Inspector or Project Manager who reviews work while in progress. Responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation including daily reports, material certifications, and testing records.
Requirements
Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass company motor vehicle screening
Preferred: NCDOT certifications (Concrete Field Technician, QMS Roadway Technician, Conventional Density Testing) and prior NCDOT construction inspection experience
