About the Role

The Tier 1 IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support for Ozmatic’s internal staff, assisting with user accounts, devices, software, and basic troubleshooting. This part-time remote role focuses on reliable execution of documented processes, clear communication, and consistent support for daily IT operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to troubleshoot common user issues in Microsoft 365 (email, accounts, access)

  • Familiarity with RMM tools or remote device management workflows

  • Basic understanding of SharePoint permissions and file access

  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and ticket notes

  • Ability to follow structured procedures and escalate when needed

  • Experience installing or updating standard software applications

  • Professional, reliable, and service-oriented demeanor

  • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision

  • Prior help desk, Tier 1 support, or customer service experience preferred

  • Microsoft Learn coursework or foundational certifications (MS-900, A+, or equivalent) are a plus
