About the Role
The Tier 1 IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support for Ozmatic’s internal staff, assisting with user accounts, devices, software, and basic troubleshooting. This part-time remote role focuses on reliable execution of documented processes, clear communication, and consistent support for daily IT operations.
Requirements
Ability to troubleshoot common user issues in Microsoft 365 (email, accounts, access)
Familiarity with RMM tools or remote device management workflows
Basic understanding of SharePoint permissions and file access
Strong written communication skills for documentation and ticket notes
Ability to follow structured procedures and escalate when needed
Experience installing or updating standard software applications
Professional, reliable, and service-oriented demeanor
Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
Prior help desk, Tier 1 support, or customer service experience preferred
Microsoft Learn coursework or foundational certifications (MS-900, A+, or equivalent) are a plus
